Ralph Sampson is a basketball legend. But before that he was a hometown hero. Born and raised in Virgina, Sampson stood at 7'1" by the time he was in high school and had an instant natural talent on the court. He went on to dominate college basketball and was the first pick in the NBA Draft in '83. By the time he signed with PUMA, he was a superstar on and off the court. So we created a customized kick just for him. Today, more than 30 years later, the Ralph Sampson returns for a new era of court style. This special edition Ralph Sampson pays tribute to Sampson's home state with a Virginia emblem stitched at the heel.
