A Non-Boring Stability Shoe: Great For Any Tempo / Cadence
Really nice stability shoe. I have previously tried the Brooks Ghost (ran my first marathon in those) and I would say these feel comparable or even a bit better. They have a nice amount of "spring" or "extra lift" to them for a shoe that doesn't have a carbon plate... they just feel easy to push-off with, and feel very "responsive" or "adaptive" when shifting tempos... the support is there no matter what sort of foot strike or cadence you're running at. There's a nice "slot" in the inner shoe where you can tuck the laces in if you like doing that. The color is also very fun - there were few candidates for flashy support shoes this year, but this is among the best - hope to see some more colors like this in the future. This is my first experience with running in PUMAs and it has been a great one so far!
